The Pulse Cafe Buyer's Club

Terms and conditions of the club:

1.  Yearly Membership in the Buyer's Club is set at $10, and is renewable each year.

2.  Items will be available at a significant discount over suggested retail prices or the usual marked up price.

  • Supplements normally are marked up by 100% (Item costing a store $10 is sold at $20). Our mark up on these items will be only 50% (Item costing us $10 will be sold at $15).
  • Personal Care Items (ie. shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc.) are normally sold at 67% mark up (ie. An item normally costing a store $10 is sold at $16.67). Such items will be only marked up 35% (ie. An item costing us $10 would be sold to members at $13.50).
  • Grocery items (food, paper goods, and household products) normally sold at a 30% mark up (ie. A $5 item is sold at $6.50) would be sold to our members at a 20% mark up (ie. An item costing us $5 would be sold to members at $6).

3.  All vendors / companies with whom The Pulse Cafe does business are available at these prices, to Buyer's Club Members.

  • Pioneer Nutritional Formulas
  • Now Foods
  • Parma!
  • Sheago

And Distributors of a variety of companies’ products include the following:

  • Associated Buyers
  • Frontier Coop
  • All Natural Distributors

(As our buying power increases, with increased membership, we are hoping to move on to larger distributors, such as Tree of Life Northeast or UNFI, which would allow us to offer a greater variety of products and possibly even better prices! We may also add other companies to our list, such as Barleans, as member interest requires).

4.  Minimum Buyer's Club Orders are set at $50 between companies (ordering items from more than one company or vendor, totaling no less than $50) or $30 when ordering from only one company.

5.  All Buyer's Club orders must be picked up within 3 days of order arrival, unless other arrangements have been made and approved at the time of the order placement. Buyer's Club Orders must be picked up during The Pulse Cafe's normal hours of operation, unless prior arrangements have been made at the time of the order placement.

6.  All Buyer's Club contact should be via e-mail to lisa@thepulsecafe.com. You may leave your phone number if you wish to be called back or your e-mail contact info. This is necessary so as to avoid a negative impact on the Cafe's operations. Bob, the chef, juggles enough responsibilities, so the operation of the Buyer's Club will be managed by Lisa.
